Aqualyx

Aqualyx® is a non-surgical fat dissolving treatment that reduces fat cells in the treated area. It is a safe solution, very effective to minimise and remove stubborn localised fat deposits.

Aqualyx ® is a compound solution from the deoxycholate family that has been physically modified. The solution is injected to target localised fat deposits in order to liquefy the fat cell, destroying it. The lipids are then naturally eliminated through your body’s lymphatic system.

Aqualyx® leads to a permanent reduction of fatty tissue; once removed, fat cells will not reappear.  Aqualyx® treatment has no downtime and no general anaesthetic risks. Aqualyx® solution is mixed with Lidocaine (local anaesthetic) before injection, for greater comfort.

There are some temporary side effects, which include bruising, swelling, redness and irritation in the injection area. Sometimes it may feel a slightly tender to touch, numb or itchy but these side effects usually subside after 1-3 days.

A reduction in fat deposits can be seen after just one treatment, however between three and eight sessions are recommended to achieve desired results. It is ideal for those who exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet but have stubborn areas of fat that won’t shift.
